About me

I am a licensed clinical social worker, independently licensed in Arizona, South Carolina, and Michigan with over 10 years of experience providing therapy to adolescents, adults, veterans, couples, and families. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including various types of trauma, depression, anxiety, self-harm, drug and alcohol struggles, relationship issues, life adjustment difficulties, low self-esteem and ADHD. I have also helped many people who have experienced thoughts of suicide and hopelessness.

I believe that feeling safe, supported, and non-judged are essential in building a successful working relationship, and treating everyone with dignity, respect, and compassion. You are not a label. We will work together to develop a treatment plan that meets your specific goals and needs. My therapeutic style combines culturally sensitive and trauma-informed approaches using cognitive-behavioral therapy, EMDR, attachment-focused, psychodynamic, mindfulness, and narrative therapy.

It takes courage to build a happier and healthier life. You can do it! You can create the life you've dreamed of, by taking one small step at a time, day-by-day. If you are ready to start your personal journey to feeling better and happier, I am here to support and empower you through the therapeutic process : ).

I look forward to working with you and seeing you achieve your best life!
Sarah

Sarah is fabulous. She really cares about the people she helps and she's truly compassionate and empathetic in understanding what you're going through. I've had therapy before and have never felt as comfortable with a therapist as I felt with her or as supported. Would definitely recommend her to anyone.

I am a therapist myself and can say that I've been somewhat picky in the past when searching for a therapist. I have stuck with Sarah because she has been super easy to talk to and gave me a safe space to deal with very difficult things I've been going through. She has a way of being honest and direct without making me feel judged.

I’ve been working with Sarah for a few months now and it has made a world of difference in my life. She’s very open and understanding. She’s helped me to gain my own tools so that I may be better prepared for circumstances that I would normally have no positive reaction to. She has helped me to see myself and given me tools to better identify my own feelings. Sarah is amazing, and I highly recommend her as a therapist.

Sarah, does a great job of making you feel secure in opening up about what issues you are dealing with. After a short time, you feel that Sarah and you have been long term friends.
