Life is full of ups and downs but the true test in life is how you overcome those obstacles.
My name is Riddhi Sevak-Patel and I am a Licensed Clinical Therapist. Welcome to my page, I hope that this allows you to get to know me a little better!
I received my MSW back in 2010 from the University of Alabama after completing the advanced standing program specializing in Children, Adolescents and their families and graduating with honors. I have worked in all aspects of healthcare ranging from acute inpatient ICU care to out-patient rehabilitation working with children and adults alike.
Outside of Better Help, I have my own virtual private practice where I work with both teenagers and adults who struggle with depression, suicidal thoughts, grief, trauma and substance abuse, to name a few. As a working mother of three, I understand the struggles faced with the "mommy burden" and can empathize towards those dealing with the anxiety that comes from "doing it all." You are not alone.
My approach to therapy is mostly a humanistic approach mixed with CBT and DBT. People are a lot more resilient than they sometimes realize and I believe that we all have the ability to "find ourselves" even in the most severe circumstances. My goal is to help you realize your strengths and help you process your feeling so that you can move onto becoming a better you.

Riddhi is a great therapist. She’s very personable and knowledgeable. What I appreciated the most was how she would check up with me to see how I’m doing and to leave a few words for me to reflect upon. I honestly wasn’t expecting her to do that. I was genuinely comforting.

I enjoy working with Riddhi. She has a great way of asking you those hard questions that cause you to think. She is phenomenal at reminding you of your responsibility to yourself. And her communication style is very much appreciated.

Riddhi is a kind hearted and genuine person. She has a presence that is welcoming and safe. I feel naturally comfortable with her, the constructive criticism and feedback she provides is truly to help her clients for their own well being. I was extremely nervous about getting therapy because I was worried all my flaws would be used against me, but with Riddhi, she helps me recognize my flaws but not in a way that makes me feel belittled or embarrassed. Her methods are honest and effective, and I feel she truly understands her clients needs.
