Hi, my name is Michelle Templeton and I am a licensed therapist in Michigan. I attended The University of Michigan for my graduate degree and loved every minute of it. I have a passion for helping people and believe in the goodness of people. I have worked with clients for more than 10 years on finding the best within themselves while also building their strength to love themselves again. I believe therapy should be realistic and empowering. I am committed to helping my clients reach their potential in mental, emotional, and social growth. I am here to work with you in a safe nonjudgmental space to identify and work on your goals. I specialize in anxiety, depression, chronic health problems, crisis management, grief, and loss. My therapy style is honesty and openness and I will work as hard as you through this process.
Additional areas of focus: Family conflicts, Trauma and abuse, Self esteem, Career difficulties, Bipolar disorder, Coaching

I have only had the first two sessions. Michelle is supportive, and listens actively. I think I will find thèse sessions very useful.

Michelle has been extremely supportive, helping me to identify areas where I can improve my mental health, in ways that suit me and my situation. She always responds to my difficulties with a positive but realistic suggestion. She has also helped me to begin to focus on some of the positive aspects of my personal life, my character, and my career.
