I have been a Licensed practicing therapist for 7 years. My approach is to treat the whole person. I am also a Holistic Nutritionist, Hypnotherapist and Life Coach. I believe the most successful treatment can be attributed to two important factors. The first is understanding how the mind, body and spirit connects; as the mind and body are not separate and to treat the mind the body must also be treated and vice versa. The second is in understanding and healing the roots of the past. I specialize in Trauma Therapy and am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprogramming (EMDR) and believe the root of most issues lies in the past. Understanding how past beliefs affects your present circumstances and through understanding and identifying your values and beliefs is the second important element of healing.
I work with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety disorders, panic, personality disorders, mood disorders, trauma including PTSD, and list of other issues and challenges. I enjoy counseling and educating my clients. My approach is eclectic and integrative style of psychotherapy. I adapt my sessions to the unique needs of each specific client, depending on the problem, the client's expectations, treatment goals and motivation. Some of the common forms of therapeutic techniques I use includes: Cognitive Behavioral Techniques, Dialectical Behavioral Techniques, Solution Focused Techniques and EMDR and Exposure therapy. I understand that no two people are alike and each client needs to be dealt with individually. I believe every person is a miracle and every person has an unlimited potential. I feel it is important to help each person understand their worth. Every person is important and deserves to be treated with respect and dignity.
I believe it often takes courage to get help and if you are ready to take that step, I am looking forward to working with you.

I am so grateful that I came across Lori! What a wonderful therapist! So encouraging, understanding, pleasant person and active listener. She actively participates during the therapy session and you can feel that she really wants to help you. She is very attentive and picks up on issues and asks great questions to reflect on. She replies very fast via messenger, gives useful home works and makes notes from session in the chatter for you. For reference, I had 4 therapist so far in my life (2 on Better help and 2 outside of this platform) and Lori is finally the one with whom I am making significant progress after so many years. I can't thank her enough!

Lori has been an incredible support for me. She listens when I need to get things off my chest, responds in ways that are empathetic and objective , and provides solutions or simple ways to accept the challenges I face. I know I am struggling right now, but knowing that I can see Lori a few times a month has been a joy and is giving me the energy to better myself.

As a young adult with no relationship with my family, It's very hard for me to accept support, or even kindness, from outside sources. But Lori does not make me feel like I'm being judged. In fact, she encourages my confidence every time she see's it, and it's helped me have more. She's got a very welcoming and warm voice, enough to make an anxious person feel less anxious. I'm happy to have her as my counselor and would very much recommend her to anyone looking for a safe space to express your pain, but also your biggest goals. Nobody else has ever made me feel so capable of accomplishing them.
