About me

I am a licensed professional counselor with ten years experience. I am eclectic in practice, but have a strong bent toward cognitive behavioral and narrative therapy styles. My approach is client-centered as it is the client's process and journey; I have the honor of being, only, a part of that. I believe in the power of one's story to heal and overcome.

I have worked with clients, ranging in age, from eleven to eighty-two. The majority of the people I have worked with have been adults. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life. Many of my clients have been from the LGBTQ+ community. I have worked with both victims (survivors) and offenders. I have worked with individuals, small groups, and larger groups. I love every kind of person and I believe in the power and beauty of humanity.

I look forward to being a part of your journey!

Kimberlyn has been helpful to me in the brief time I’ve talked with her. I think she’s easy to talk with and listens well. She’s open to many different approaches which is great. It doesn’t feel limiting when she offers ways to help myself. So far I am happy with our weekly talks.

She is very helpful and caring. She listens and understands things, remembers what is going on in your life even with a million other patients.

Kimberlyn listens and asks probing questions about my thoughts. She helps me figure out what is behind my emotions and gives me her advice after I’ve taken time to sort it out a bit.
