The absolute best therapist I’ve ever had and I had a long-term therapist prior to Gwen for 10 years. Gwen is extremely compassionate, she is never condescending nor does she ever display any form of judgment. Not only does she actively listen, she’s able to help coach me through important decisions and behaviors. I’m so thankful to have found Gwen and to have her on my team!

I felt myself click with Gwendolyn right off the bat. I am someone who hates to cry, yet I was sobbing, within just a few moments of meeting with her. She never made me feel anything except, “worthy,” of having the feelings I needed to have at that very moment.
She is so warm, so caring and overall she is such a genuine human being. I feel like I cannot wait for my appointments each week, because I adore feeling heard, and validated. I also know, that with her, I have someone who will be honest with me as well.
She is the best, and I would recommend her any day, to anyone!

When I decided that I needed to focus on my mental health, I knew that I needed a therapist with a lot of experience considering all of the issues that I needed to unpack. Along with someone who understands my spiritual needs. Gwendolyn pushes me to do the work, while listening attentively during our sessions. I am able to focus on moving forward with skills and positive coping mechanisms while addressing areas of my life where I need to “confront” certain circumstances, with the ability to move forward. Mental health is important to me and the purpose that I am to walk in accordingly, while accepting my own accountability. I believe less than 5% of this earthly population is able to recognize this. And for that I appreciate my sessions with Gwendolyn, and as a Black woman, I don’t feel stigmatized at all that I choose to love myself and evolve!!!
