Deborah Bainton, LICSW
About me
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 35 years of experience working in inpatient and community mental health centers as well as with individuals who find they feel more comfortable in speaking to therapists in and from their own home settings. I have an expertise in working with clients dealing with PTSD, Mood Disorders, and some major mental health issues such as Schizophrenia. I am empathetic, compassionate, and strongly believe in meeting the client where they are and helping guide them towards feeling better about themselves, having better relationships with others, as well as attaining their goals in life . I have a healthy respect for people’s aspirations and sometimes use my well developed sense of humor to sometimes show clients the lighter side of their issues to use as a coping mechanism in handling
their day to day stressors. I enjoy working with clients who have the courage to reach out for help with their issues and respect how difficult that may sometimes seem.
