I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.
I have helped many people who have multiple ongoing mental health issues like anxiety and depression, my specialty area is grief and loss.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines multicultural counseling with a client centered approach to include client centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution focused therapy.
I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I will encourage you to create a prayer journal as well as a resource binder during therapy to be utilized outside of therapy. The more you put into therapy the more you will receive from it. You are worth investing in yourself!
As a Christian I also incorporate a faith based approach with my counseling. I may refer you to specific areas of the Bible to consider reading, or send you some other free resources to help you along your journey should I feel it would be beneficial to the situation you are dealing with. I welcome all faiths and no faiths and will respect where you are coming from either way.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you! Please take a look at my schedule and book a session that works for you. If you do not see a day or time that is convenient, please let me know what is, and I will book that for you if I have no other conflicts.
If you feel we would not be a good match, you can request a counselor change.
May God continue to bless you, and to shine His face upon you and be gracious unto you!
