Greetings! Sometimes life's challenges will prompt us to seek support and you've come to the right place. Kudos to you for taking the first step in getting the support you are seeking.
I have a master's degree in School and Professional Counseling from Amberton University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. As a School Counselor I have refined my skills in working with adolescents from diverse backgrounds. I have over seventeen years working with high school students and adults. I have worked with individuals with anxiety, suicidal thoughts, low self esteem, lack of motivation and significant trauma.
My therapeutic style is future-focused, goal-directed and focuses on solutions rather than on the problems. My assumption is that you have knowledge of what would make your life better and together we will work on solutions. My approach is collaborative, in order to achieve change. As a therapist/counselor, I am very open and you can tell me anything in a non judmental environment. I am here if you need to feel understood and you want the truth. If this is what you are looking for, you have come to the right place.

Nedra is great! She listens and responds in a way that really helps you dive deep into the “why’s, what’s, where’s and how’s. I find that she is willing to work with you in numerous ways that makes you as the client feel like the number one priority which is imperative when seeking someone to share your personal life details with. I believe I found the one that is willing to help me process some of my thoughts and feeling and for that I am grateful.

Nedra is a great listener and always remembers what I have going on in my life to ask me about things each week. It's been a major help having her in my life weekly through a big life transition of moving states and re-building this year. I highly recommend working with Nedra! :D
