Phyllis Tiffin, LPC
About me
I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas. I have worked with children and adolescents as a teacher and a counselor. I spend the majority of my days in a college counseling center helping students. I also do some part-time work with children and adolescents.
I am a solution focused counselor first, but if a client has a need for other modalities I am proficient in Narrative and CBT as well. I do my best to listen to my clients and determine my methods based upon their individual needs. I specialize in depression, anxiety and social anxiety. I work with a diverse array of clients. I believe the client is the expert in their own life and I am here to help them overcome their issues and move forward in their lives.
I do marriage counseling upon request. I am very well versed in marriage counseling, because I constantly study it to improve my own marriage as well as that of others. My philosophy in marriage counseling is couples need to learn to put their marriage first, above all else.
