Carleen is the therapist that made me believe in therapy. I gave therapy a shot for the first time this year, and my first therapist was cool but I needed more and that's when I met Carleen. In a matter of months I made so much progress in my personal life and my career, transitioning from an anxious dude who felt uncomfortable in groups to a more confident man who could talk and perform on a stage infront of large crowds. Personally, I was dealing with anxiety, intrusive thoughts, childhood trauma, negative self view, and had issues with my mum. I have learned to affirm, combat these thoughts, change my paradigm/ perspective and be proactive. I have gone from being a people pleaser to someone with clear boundaries and a focus on me and what I need. I am also developing a better relationship with my Mum and people around me and I can say the quality of my life has gotten better in every regard. While I am still a work in progress, I at least have found my path to my true self and I am no longer lost and drifting at sea. For this, I am forever grateful to Carleen.
