About me

If you are feeling anxious, depressed, hopeless, or just stuck in life and you are considering therapy, congratulations you have taken the first step to improving your quality of life. Change can be frightening and overwhelming, but if we choose to avoid it rather than face it head on, we will only continue to remain stuck. I believe therapy is a collaborative effort between the therapist and client. I will assist you with overcoming self-defeating beliefs that stifle your personal growth by utilizing techniques and resources to help you lead a more productive, prosperous, and meaningful life.

I received my Master’s degree in professional counseling from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona in 2019. I am licensed to provide counseling through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and National Certified Counselor. I have experience working with diverse populations and I am well versed on issues that affect marginalized groups and communities. With this distinctive perspective, I am able to maintain the highest level of integrity and unbiased opinion on every client, regardless of their age, gender, ethnic, social, or religious background.

I have a passion for helping others which is why I chose this profession. My approach to treatment is soft-natured, welcoming and eclectic as I specialize in a variety of techniques which allows me to meet my clients where they are. While I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life my area of focus is women’s mental health and wellness. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, lack of confidence, negative self-image, stress management, relationship issues, adjustment issues, processing/working through trauma or finding purpose in life I am here to help. During our time together I will help you identify your strengths and will work with you to develop and strengthen skills that will empower you to live your very best life.

I look forward to working with you!

Alicia is so kind, always listens to what I have to say, and affirms my feelings and reactions. I was nervous starting because I've never engaged in therapy before, but she's opened my eyes that it's normal to need to talk to a someone.
